We are a small, trusted group of roofers dedicated to delivering safe, dependable, and high-quality work to our customers. As our company grows, we’re seeking a driven, personable, and motivated Roofing Sales Representative to help us expand our residential and commercial client base.
Role Overview/Job Description
As a valued member of our team, your role is essential to fueling our company’s growth. You’ll connect directly with homeowners and commercial property owners to assess their exterior needs, present optimal roofing and siding solutions, and guide them smoothly through the inspection, insurance, or retail sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- -Conduct thorough on-site roof and exterior inspections to identify storm damage, wear, or structural issues
- -Deliver professional, clear sales presentations and build customized digital estimates using corporate pricing models
- -Keep detailed records of customer interactions, lead updates, and signed contracts via ServiceTitan
- -Provide updates on job status, pricing, and installation timelines to customers
- -Assist with creating work orders and maintaining accurate CRM records
- -Coordinate with technicians, project managers, and installers to ensure schedules run efficiently and jobs transition smoothly to production
- -Address customer concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- -Support billing inquiries, insurance adjustments, and basic administrative tasks
- -Ensure all jobs are processed to completion and initial deposits/payments are collected
- -Support sales leadership team and office as needed
- -Generate new sales opportunities through community networking and local canvassing
- -Follow up lead appointments during agreed upon time frames
Qualifications
- -Previous sales or customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment (roofing/siding or in-home sales experience is a plus)
- -Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- -Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- -Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a diverse sales pipeline
- -Experience using scheduling software, estimating tools, and customer management systems (Service Titan experience is a plus)
- -Ability to stay calm, focused, and competitive in high-pressure situations
- -A helpful attitude and a willingness to fully master the roofing service workflow
